It gets 2 stars only because of Natalie Port man near-nudity and humorous use of a bearded dragon.

Been a couple years since I saw it in the theatre. Pretty good, but I just can't get past all the first-drafty names of places and things. Pandora? Unobtanium? Come on, Cameron. I know you're Moore creative than that.

Saw the Director's cut this time. Been so long that I'm not sure what was different.

I probably would have rated this film higher, 3 1/2 or even 4 stars, if Vince Vaughn would have said the word Baby about 10 fewer times. It took me about 3/4 of the film to understand that there actually was a plot, but it came through beautifully at the end. Favreau's character shows real depth. Ron Livingston, a fellow Iowan, does very well in a completely unnecessary role.
