Letterboxd — Your life in film

A disappointing addition to the Ironman franchise. The director & writer totally waste Downey Jr's mastery of the Tony Stark larger-than-life personality.

Saw with the kids last night. It thought pretty well executed. Reminded me a little of Ice Age.

Tom Cruise's fragile ego is his worst feature & the subsequent need for him to create vehicles that pump this up at the expense of all other redeeming features usually result in humourless & soulless movies. This is one of those. Add a confusing story & no compelling characters & you get a 1 star movie.

Beautifully written & directed with amazing performance by Joaquin Phoenix. I would have like to have rated higher but ultimately the story didn't seem to go anywhere so was disappointed overall.

Mega death mega violent. Best part is the great choreographed martial arts fight scenes.

Soulless

Enjoyed the book much more so than the movie. Doesn't translate well.
