How can you pay to see a film of a game & be sniffy about it!? it would be asking a lot to expect high art, i thoroughly enjoyed it, it's got fucking Tadanobu Asano in it for one thing, there's an amazing (as in ridiculous) battleships the boardgame scene, nicely done aliens, a disabled guy hero who was handily a golden gloves champ & when the old guys appear i did a little chear, fantastically cobblers & i'm going to see it again!!
a group of friends go to a remote beach house and wander around it, play monopoly and hide and seek then wander around some more, sometimes on their own until they all inevitably meet the Mutilator, he doesn't look much like a Mutilator just a grumpy man, some nice noises, good kills! inc unpleasant fish hooking, very dark lighting throughout and a title/theme song i thought all the way through was called 'Ball Break' until the end credits spoiled it for me
