Star Trek Into Darkness 2013
It's a balls out ride. I enjoyed every leap of faith the film took. Sure, it's predictable a few times, but there are some nice twists and turns with the franchise. It's a great ride. Perfect summer fare.

This is what we have all been waiting for. Christopher Nolan took every piece of all the work he has done with this series and took it to an entire new level, not just in action, but emotionally as well.
From a screenwriting standpoint, it is a near perfect summer popcorn script with a diverse range of characters old and new. From a cinematography standpoint, it is exactly what it should have been. And, of course the direction is overall…
