My brain melted. But first it was cut into little pieces and then grounded. The dust was mixed with water and stirred until it's texture was that of a chocolate milkshake. Then, it was left outside in the sun for almost two hours, in which time it melted.
I dislike the horror genre. I really do. I've tried with old monsters, demons, ghost stories, and with the modern "jump scares" movies. I can't stand them.
The Cabin in the Woods for me is one of the best movies released this year. It may not change the genre, but it gives it something fresh. I would watch more horror movies like this. Movies with an actual script.
Now gimme a spin-off with the control room guys, Whedon.
