Many musicians have tried to make it as movie stars - many have failed miserably. Here's ten great films which feature musicians in major roles - none of whom, for once, sucked.
PS. Ice Cube is my musician of choice in Three Kings, not Marky Mark.
Iggy Pop in drag in Jim Jarmusch's Dead Man gets my vote, but I'll second Ice Cube just for the DVD extra Ice Cube's acting school :)
Donnie Whalberg in the Saw films (or Sixth Sense) . He's More likeable as an actor than a New Kid.
