The Avengers - Marvel Cinematic Universe
This collection lists (in approximate movie timeline order) all the Marvel Studios films that lead up to, and spin off from, the multi-character Superhero epic 'The Avengers' aka 'Avengers Assemble'.
Marvel have gained the rights back to Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Thor and Ant-Man. These characters were the classic line-up of The Avengers.
Marvel have now released the individual movies (which reference each other and establish that these characters all live in the same world), leading up to the crossover in 'The Avengers'.
Marvel will now continue to build this Cinematic Universe...

This is fantastic and will be absurdly useful to keep track of the timeline as we move into Phase 2.

Nope- the small amount I communicated with the Letterboxd team via the Facebook page, they diligently keep the site restricted to movies. ^_^

I wonder if Ant-Man will keep it's rumoured 1960's setting and so actually take place between 'Captain America' and 'Iron Man'?

If Ant-Man IS in the 60s (which I hadn't heard, but it would help the later timeline logically, I think), that will be EXTREMELY interesting. Another retroactive world builder. As long as they don't already have to retcon known information out of existence. xD

@Steven The 1960's/1990's day split was the original plan but that was many years ago now. I think it would be great if they keep it but make it 1960's and then the modern day section around the same time as Avengers 2.

How do you get access to those Marvel One Shots with Coulson. I have all the Blu Rays but don't remember them.
I only have the DVD's which don't have them on but they can all be found on youtube. The only possible exception is 'Item 47' which i had to watch here;

I actually looked at my Blu Rays and found they were on Captian America and Thor.
Actually I think it was Hulk and Captain America.
Had it right the first time- Thor and Captain America. Thor features "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Thor's Hammer" and Captain America features "The Consultant".
Yep, with 'Item 47' on the Avengers Blu-Ray.
Will be interesting to see what they put with Iron Man 3...
