I'm glad to say I liked this quite a bit more than my first watch. I still do have my problems with the story and the villain overall, but this time through, the twist didn't get on my nerves. Shane Black crafted a hilarious yet still action-packed superhero movie with a great performance from R.D.J. For now this gets a 4/5, but it could go up in the future.

The best film of summer 2013 so far.

There's nothing really to grasp onto in Fast 6. For a movie with the amount of action that it has, this film is rather bland. I know the story of these films are all generic but it's hard to get invested when it doesn't even feel like the filmmakers are trying. The action scenes are inconsistent in quality, some are fantastic and others have too much shaky-cam. Also, the actors lack a sense of enthusiasm and feel like they're here only because they're supposed to. It's occasionally fun but overall not worthy of some of the buzz it's been receiving.

If you know anyone who is struggling with drug addiction, show them this movie NOW. Requiem for a Dream is one of the best of the 2000's decade; it's directed with insane tension by Darren Aronofsky, the score really drives the movie, and the performances are amazingly genuine. This movie really has no room for improvement and really needs to be shown in health classes at school.
