There were a lot of interesting and thought provoking ideas crammed into this film, and it all somehow worked. I've never read the source material, but I didn't feel like I was missing a whole lot other than some minor details and insight into some of the minor characters. The Truman Show-esque elements were a pleasant surprise and the game itself never got too boring.
