Last night, Darth Vader came down from Planet Vulcan and told me that if I didn't take Lorraine out, that he'd melt my brain.

It's pure entertainment perfection. What else is there to say about this film? The script is smart, funny and amazingly well paced. The cast is lightning in a bottle, and thank god they realized casting Eric Stoltz as a replacement for Michael J. Fox was a mistake.
The special effects are near perfect, never overextending what they could pull off. Using a DeLorean was a stroke of genius. I could go on and on. Nothing but praise on all counts. It's also one of the few movies that actually makes product placement cool. I wouldn't want this film any other way then to see Marty McFly try to order a Pepsi Free in 1955.
They don't make movies like this anymore.
One of the funniest, most well-paced comedies I've ever seen. Love it.
Nothing says summer-movie to me like "Back to the Future." My memories of seeing this back in '85 and being riveted are crystal clear. "The Power of Love" is still one of the best theme songs ever recorded.
Love Huey's cameo in this too. It's one of those rare films where it feels like everything was firing on all cylinders when it was made.
True; plus it's one of those movies that came out at *the* ideal time in my life. I was old enough to get it all, but not too old to reject any of it.

I like that. :)

I second that!
I'm just glad it made sense!
