There's a point in the movie were a giant space cloud turns it's face to the camera and explains what it's about to do because the screenwriter thought this was the best way to convey this information to the audience. Unfortunately that's not the first or last illogical thing that happens in the movie. How Mark Strong ended up in this film is what kept me in the most suspense.
