Hey, baby! You look like you could use a stiff one!

You know whether or not you're going to like this movie before you even start it. It's hard not to like just how ludicrously campy it all is. My main problem with this movie, if I have one, is that John Travolta playing a woman kinda freaks me out. John Waters however, has one of the greatest cameos ever.
When I originally saw the trailer for this I felt physically ill. I knew right then there's no way in hell I'd ever watch it ; )
If you're a fan of John Waters' campy sense of humor there's something to enjoy here as it's still present from the original, but it's by no means a "must watch".
Yeah I just can't do it. This type of film doesn't appeal to me at all.
Ah this deserves 4 stars! :P
Well now I don't think I agree with either one of you lol
I love this movie, but yes,.. Travolta makes for one huge ugly woman. I know they kept the tradition with the original and the broadway musical by casting a man in the role again, but in the original at least it was a real life drag queen and he was cast by John Waters who was just being his usual counter-culture self, and god love him for it.
was supposed to have "but Travolta just doesn't pull it off, you're constantly aware that it's Travolta in a fat suit and never lose yourself in the film." There much better. lol But I adore the rest of the film, and yes John Waters cameo in this is awesome.
