Mr. DuLac’s review:
Whether to kill yourself or not is one of the most important decisions a teenager can make.
-Pauline Fleming
In a decade dominated by teen movies this one managed to standout by it's sheer audacity to do things it's own way. It's not satisfied with being a satire, but it has to go the extra mile and be a mean spirited black-comedy as well. It's a film that dared to be different.
... also filled from beginning to end with quotable lines...
"I love my dead gay son!'
"I don't patronize bunny rabbits."
I must watch this again - it's such a long time since I've seen it, another film I liked when I was younger but I bet seeing it now may well have a bigger impact on me!
If you're like me you'll appreciate it much more now.
