You probably read the end of a book first, don't you?
-Sam Hallaway

My main problem with this film is that there's another movie that comes to mind right away that attempts what this one does, but does it much better. To name the other film would spoil this one, and if you've seen this one it would spoil the other.

With that said, even if you figure out the "mystery" at the beginning of the film like I did, the movie is still very enjoyable. It's filled with great performances with really twisted characters. It's been called a "a kind of Blood Simple Rashomon", but that gives the wrong impression. While the film is told through witnesses of a murder(s), even though some of them lie we still see the unbiased truth through flashbacks while they are lying. It was very entertaining to hear these characters lie about events and see why at the same time.

So even though the "mystery" could have been handled better, the rest of the film is a real joy to watch, as long as you enjoy extremely dark humor mixed in with some sick individuals.
