I'm glad you really enjoyed Cloud Atlas and The Master too. THey are probably my best picks for 2012
@Bruno Youn: I was a bit surprised by how many people did not like Cloud Atlas. Not a popular choice for "best of the year" but happy to see others who liked it.
I've been back to see Cloud Atlas. I saw it was blown away, then thought about it, tried my best to think about it..... thought was it really that good?
Went back and loved it just as much..... so much is going on. So much to think about, though after the 2nd viewing I didn't think it was that complicated (though I'm not 100% sure of whats going on...) And the music...... the music is superb!
Though it's come up against Django for me... else it would have been my favourite film so far this year!
I've only had the chance to see it once, but when it comes out on DVD/BD it's a definite buy for me. Really looking forward to rewatching it.
