Great films!
Boy, yours was a good year!
I know I was suprised! Funny thing is that I only watched Assault on Precinct 13 this week, so I wouldn't have been able to even make a top 10 last week lol.
Watched a film from 76 that forced me to change my list.
What movie did you watch and what movie got the boot?
Watched The Outlaw Josey Wales... and I'm not telling you what movie got the boot lol. Welcome any suggestions for films from 1976 that someone might think would kick off another film from my top 10.
The only one I can think of is All the President's Men, but I'm not 100% confident it'll replace one of those or not.
How about "Alice in Wonderland: An X-Rated Musical Fantasy"?
@Shawn: I think I'll skip that one lol.
@Nick: I've seen All the President's Men, but honestly I would have to rewatch it to decide if it fit in my top 10 or not. I'll have to.
Kudos, Senor DuLac, for including Logan's Run. I am so in love with that film (and with Jenny A). 1970's dystopian futures always intrigue me.
I remember Bryan Singer was trying to get a Logan's Run remake off the ground for years and nothing materialized.
I don't mind that it failed. If they went back to the source novel -- where everyone has to die at 21, not 30 -- then it might be interesting.
But I am perfectly happy with this ridiculous slice of 70's SF -- complete with York, Fawcett, and Ustinav to go with my Jenny.
