A beautifully imagined film, Ridley Scott's vision is let down by the numerous plots juggled in mid-air. The ideas are great, the concepts amazing but there is something, a feeling if you will, that does not entirely sit right. The interesting first half is let down by a second half that tries to match up with Alien and jumps several unusual hoops to get there, and yet still does not stick the landing.
