An somewhat grim and dark film played through the eyes of a child, giving it a lighthearted feel. Still felt like in places the film was being weird for the sake of being weird.

"It was nice. Not earth-shattering."

Can't even begin to reflect on this until I at least watch it a few more times. Very much enjoyed what I saw, I think.

Today is the 18th of September 2012 and I have just watched Taxi Driver for the first time. I'd like to personally apologize to myself for not watching this masterpiece sooner.

Maybe after a few watches I will pluck up enough courage to review this further.

But god damn.

For a film made with a budget of $7000 I am damn impressed. Though I was and still am completely lost as to what actually happened throughout. I will definitely give this another few watches.

Maybe yesterday I'll understand what happened in this film.
