Decent movie but it really drops off, the opening 15 minutes is fantastic. There is no evidence of a relationship with a woman and Vassil (the protagonist) and hollywood embedded it unrealistically, poorly, it just felt out of place. I wanted to learn about one of the greatest battles, snipers in history rather that some generic relationship with a girl who can't get dirt on her face.

Really interesting film about crime, not stylized at all. This is a film about the reality of organised crime in regions where it is all encompassing, inescapeable and where even those involved are victims. Definately worth a re-watch a couple of weeks later after watching.

Wonderful film, exploring so many different facets of human nature.
Identity, Nationalism, Reason, Friendship, the meaning of life and of course Love.
This movie is a must see for any film lover and a true classic.

My eyes were getting watery during the singing of the French national anthem in the saloon and I don't cry.
