List by Marcin Wichary
Now put that creativity down and step away from the movie poster.
Movies that try to be oh-so-clever with letter substitution. Must be one of the worst clichés.
Of course, the proper way is to read the numbers as they are, which means e.g. “thirthirtheenen ghosts.”
Send in more suggestions!
Thanks! Added. :·) I actually had it in my watchlist. ;·)
A few suggestions with symbols instead of letters:
• Inglourious Basterds
• Zack and Miri Make a Porno
• The Simpsons Movie
• Zodiac
I'm glad you kept Step up 2. The Streets on the list, despite it not technically meeting the brief.
That film title has grated on me quite like no other. SImply hideous.

Never seen it, but I came across this one too (three must be a few other 'back 2...' titles out there) — Leprechaun: Back 2 Tha Hood
VersoLaMorte, I think symbols deserve their own section – start a list! :·)
Tony, Mike, added both.
Dan, agreed. :·) I also hate when movies conflate “3” with “3D.”
The inclusion of Signs led me to believe you were looking for symbols too. Sorry about that.
I won't start another list. That would be too derivative of your idea.
VersoLaMorte, no apologies necessary – I wasn’t consistent (those lists sometimes evolve as time progresses), and I just removed Signs too.
I don’t think replacing letters with symbols is necessarily bad, if done right. But with all those above, it doesn’t seem to be adding anything.
Oh lord, that is awful. Added.
