Dark, foreboding, heavy and heart breaking.

I really didn't mind this one, i guess that comment says enough though!

I loved the visual exploration of the location and the creep factor that as i recall wasn't reliant on boo! make me drop my popcorn moments.

Tense edge of your seat moments created by great dialogue, showed you just enough action to believe the scenes being played out off screen.

Great idea too completely far fetched and unbelievable but its fiction right?

    love it.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

I have an overwhelming urge to drop this movie into editing software remove the cheap jumps and cut the ending to the blackout after the train hits.

For me this would make an infinitely better movie, the tension build up was great and i thought Daniel Radcliffe carried the movie extremely well, but was only annoyed and a little offended by the did you jump, did you? moments scattered though out.

Sometimes its important to refer to a movie as a dead duck.

I don't know why this happens, but this is one of those times.

I had to read this book for book club, then we watched the movie, just to check really if the main character really was that much of a pain in the dead duck.

Decent adaptation, hard to enjoy this story, same as reading the book.

Its a tough story to sit with.

George Harvey is terrify on page and his ordinariness on screen is sickeningly awful. He could be living on your street.

Finding it hard to rate this film, watched it in one of those okay i have to see what the fuss was about moments.

Its grim, uncomfortable and fascinating all at the same time.

The special effects still leave me wondering.

It entirely unnecessary to kill animals in the making of a movie, particularly if your FX team is this effective...

This is such a great story, a classic.

Imagine this with an unknown actor and less of the silly hollywood nonsense.

Give us the movie you should have made!
