Letterboxd — Your life in film

Excellently paced, full of great tension that doesn't fall flat with cheap shots.

Truly unsettling horror with an interesting story and satisfying reveal.

I avoided reading or seeing anything about this movie before its release.

I'm a Whedon fan so I expected i would like it but knew also that i could be going in to watch pretty much anything, that it could go anywhere, it did and then some :)

I'm only waiting now to see what he does next, waiting in a hiding from any info or trailers about what he might do next kind of way....

Smell the nastiness is right, this film is harsh.

One two Freddies coming for you.

I hope not he scares me.

I'm not sure how i have only recent seen this movie, i feel cheated that it isn't on my list of films that freaked me out as a kid.

Watching it now i can see how freaked out i would have been, and how rewatching it would have tapped into that experience, just like watching The Shining or Amityville.

Oh the waste!

Still even now it is a genuinely creepy movie with excellent special effects, CGI has made the whole gooey skeleton industry plain lazy.

This movie is hilarious, genius, if you don't laugh you might be dead.

This restored my faith in the horror movie industry.

I saw this again recently at the drive in on a very dark stormy night.

Caught this on a random cinema night, had no clue what it was.

Still ranks as the movie that made me laugh the most.

Yes the idea is tired now but back then i snorted fanta out of my nose.

i'm going to say nothing about this movie other than you should watch it.

Oh and theres an original apparently, i have to see this.

One of my favourite books i adore this movie.

Still scares me.
