Going in I assumed it would be a bad movie and that there was no way the concept could be made a good one. Turns out I was right on one account; it was a bad movie. Watching it though, you could see how they might have made it a little bit interesting. The story is basically Hard to Kill, which was entertaining enough. What they fail to do is twofold. They don't make Frank Castle sympathetic/cool enough to root for him. They also don't make him viscous enough to fit the character. Pull a lot of punches. Poorly executed movie, but not necessarily an unfixable concept.
