  • What a great list. I like seeing Buffalo 66 in there and Blue Velvet and Taxi Driver are two of my all time faves.

  • This is a great list! Love The Pledge, Being There, Harold and Maude, Blue Velvet... so many more. The only film I really can't stand (all the others I like a lot/love) is Amelie. Too twee and precious. And green.

  • Thanks. I think I need to reevaluate Amelie a bit. I do still like it a lot but it is a little cloying I suppose.

  • I can see why people like it, but it just rubbed me the wrong way. It also felt very insincere to me.
That strip club scene in Buffalo '66 is really amazing.

  • That's just an amazing list. Love the inclusion of All the Real Girls. What happened, David Gordon Green?
Also reminded me that I've got to get around to see A Room for Romeo Brass.
