I get that Pixar was still exploring different 3D technologies at this time, but most of this should've been left in the Experiments drawer. The modeling and lighting are both pretty weak, the baby is a Cronenbergian nightmare. Even if it were rendered well, it's not a particularly charming story. The only part that really works is the discovery of the other toys under the sofa. Good thing they turned that into Toy Story.
