Warcraft 2016
Finally getting a chance to watch this movie, far removed from the expectations and reviews of fans and critics alike. And, perhaps unsurprisingly, I liked it a lot. I would even say, with the exception of some rushed bits in the third act and a weak ending, this is a genuinely GOOD movie.

Five Nights at Freddy's 2023
This is like a perfect middle-school sleepover movie. Kinda silly, occasionally spooky, surprisingly dark at times (for those who don't know the lore), and generally a fun time. I just wish they'd played the "twist" a little closer to the vest.

Kill Bill: Vol. 2 2004
A quieter, more deliberate end to KB1's frenetic beginning, and what a beautiful end it is. I realized the last time I watched this movie that both films present a sort of history lesson on the evolution of film narrative, according to QT. Beginning in black & white, with raw, grind-house flare, ending with a thoroughly modern, understated, and personal resolution. That epiphany made me love these movies even more.

GoodFellas 1990
I can objectively call this an excellent movie. And I can even say I was entertained while watching it. But by the end... I can't say I liked it. I know that's a seriously controversial stance, but it really just comes down to the world it drops me into the middle of not being one I'm particularly interested in occupying. Nothing in the movie was BAD. But I can't hit that Like heart.
