For a film with THAT title that induced sniggers in the audience whenever the trailer played, this takes itself way too seriously. It's grim and darkened tone serving as a hindrance rather than a help. Benjamin Walker is unmemorable as the iconic president as he moves through a muddled story, plodding along between historical events and less than spectacular CGI fueled action sequences.
