Right of the bat, this film is fucking epic! The effects are amazing, the characters are the ones we know and love and they all get their time to shine. Even Nick Fury. To be honest, it's probably (with the exception of the original Iron Man) the best MCU film ever made. It's not perfect though. I felt we didn't get to know the villians good enough. I'm not talking about Loki, but the alien robot things. Who the fuck are they and why are they so keen on fighting? Maybe it's explained more in the comics, but I don't read that shit. I also think Scarlett Johansson's character (Black Widow) was really lame. She's the only one who doesn't feel all that special to me and some of her lines are just awful. Like when Stark says: "I'm bringing the party to you!" she responds: "I don't see how that's a party..." So fucking lame. But those things are minor annoyances, because this film is fantastic. It's funny, it's action packed and it has some great character moments. Top-notch stuff.
