The spirit of childhood skips and giggles through The Rocket even though Kim Mordaunt's debut fiction feature touches on deeply disturbing humanitarian issues. Enjoyed it just as much on a second watch as I did on the first. One of my favourite films of 2013, although it isn't getting a UK release till this March. Navy SEALs tortured by appalling script, get their own back by beating the remaining life out of it. Action scenes are pretty good but you could say that about a computer game.
