Hell, that came out of nowhere. A hilarious comedy that has the balance between jokes and plot in perfect balance. The action set pieces and dialogue are sharp and the high school and police traits are brilliantly observed. Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are brilliant together. The only negative is that is slows down a little in the middle third, but after a explosively hilarious opening act there's really nowhere else the film could go. The surprise hit of 2012, so far.
