Not a good film by any stretch, if anything a really forgettable one. Its sweet and the imagination of the rescuers aid society is very cute. The characters are generic or copies of other Disney characters - Medusa *cough*cough*Cruella de vile*cough*cough*. The story is paint-by-numbers and poorly defined. The whole bit about the diamond, it really doesn't matter in the slightest. The animation is scratchy and colourless, contrary to the oil painting backgrounds which are beautiful. Bit of a wasted opportunity, all told.
