Fairly unremarkable AIP fare taken up a notch by virtue of having the incomparable Boris Karloff.

A very colourful-looking film that looks to have been made using the same process of a number of Hammer films of the period, complete with the sometimes-distracting anamorphic distortion at the far left/right of frame.
