I was confused by the first part of this film. I thought the main character was so delusional, he probably had a distorted view on the events that led to his imprisonment. In other words: I thought this whole Nikki did not exist the whole film. The second part of the film, the whole dance act, was just like your average romanti movie. And then there was Nikki.

All and all I liked the feel of this film. Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro were great. Bu somehow I felt more could've been done with theme.
