Letterboxd — Your life in film

Fairly ridiculous action sequences, pretty horrible acting. On the plus side the special effects are impressivish.

I assume the people giving it good reviews are Scientology plants.

This movie had an appropriate amount of monkey fighting.

Enjoyable mix of historical fiction, personal drama and nazi-hunting. Worth a watch.

The only reason I didn't walk out is that I was stuck in the middle of row jammed full of tweens and I was concerned they might lynch me if I blocked their view of that vampire guy for even a microsecond.

An unvarnished view of the war in afghanistan. You watch a bunch of well-meaning soldiers serve in an outpost in the Korengal Valley in Afghanistan. You see them struggle with the local insurgents and accidentally kill local civilians.

It's a pretty unflattering view of the conflict, and should be required viewing before you make up your mind on the merits, or otherwise, of continued presence in Afghanistan.

This is a pretty formulaic wedding comedy, but a few funny scenes rescue it from being completely terrible. I'd watch it if it were on TV, but wouldn't recommend it to others.
