Owen Hughes’s review:
Elektra is a Marvel comics character who is an Assassin. In this film she goes off on a journey to kill some people, but actually doesn't go through with it as she likes the young girl and her dad. There's gangs and crime and all that jazz swirled in with the plot too.
For a very straightforward film, it has far too many twists that it's difficult to understand the actual narrative properly, almost like the writers had loads of different ideas for the film but put no thought process into how to link it all together without it turning into a clusterfuck. Not that the ideas were all that creative or interesting in the first place.
It's not quite Catwoman levels of bad for a comicbook conversion, but still a cold white furry dog turd of a film.
