The rubber costumes are the tip of the iceberg on what is a really quite naff film. I like the classic Alan Moore comics, I like the new Scott Snyder comics, I like Wes Craven, I wanted to like this, I didn't like it.

It has an interesting story to it, but it's not actiony enough or, crucially, fun enough. There's no sharp one-liners, which I thought it would be packed with. Swamp Thing takes ages to appear on screen too.

The main positive for it is ... erm... I'll get back to you on it.
