Owen Hughes’s review:
A very strange film, this. Some of it is quite thought provoking, interesting and emotionally charged. Some of it made me laugh when I'm assuming wasn't the intention. It was a bit silly, a bit fascinating, a bit lame, a bit dazzling...
A lot of people hate this film, but I loved it. I'm glad to see you at least liked it.
I think I liked it. I mostly liked it.
As you can tell, I'm still conflicted about what I actually thought of it. It's weird mix of stuff I loved and terrible bits.
Yeah, I can see both sides of the argument. I can understand you thinking it's pretentious, Madhat, I felt the same at times, but there's undeniably great scenes/concepts behind most of the film.
Watched it once. I loved the visual experience, but for the story i haven't got a clue. Never got around to watching it again.
I have to be honest, I've not been in any rush to re-watch it either..!
