The Ides of March 2011
Clooney has achieved some success here with his story of the traitorous and often morally dubious decisions made to support Presidential campaign runs. Gosling puts in a typically great performance as the conflicted Press Secretary, and there are confident, if not outstanding performances from the rest including Philip Seymour Hoffman and Paul Giamatti.

Tucker & Dale vs. Evil 2010
Surprisingly decent take on the horror movie spoof! Just short enough to not outstay it's welcome, it achieves a gory, funny, and affectionate take on the slasher genre, with two capable leads and a perfectly cast set of expendable college kids.

The Devil Wears Prada 2006
Wintour would be both very angry and very proud. Meryl Streep turns a character that could be easily 2D and adds emotional weight behind her, even just for the small cracks in her ice queen persona. Excellent.
