I saw this over the course of several weeks actually which isn't the best way to treat a movie. Maybe that is why I wasn't really into it until the very end. I did find several scenes in the end to show off some great acting and emotions.
A few things to keep in mind: * When your camera surveillance system blinks, please look into that. Oldest trick in the book. * Don't build prisons on easily accessed sewers. * If you are an agent lost, visit spectacular sites around the world - that is the natural location for super villains to rendez-vous.
But, this was very enjoyable. I appreciate the action in this not for the effects but for the amazing stunts and fun solutions for each sub-plot. I wasn' expecting this much.
I loved the 1992 BBC miniseries when I was a kid and it was nice to revisit the story. It works very well in the japanese animated style but the story was a bit too low-paced at times. I think kids will love it and it is a nice thing to watch with them.
