Star Trek Into Darkness 2013
Another solid entry in the new generation of old generation Star Trek from JJ Abrams. Perhaps a little too much fan service, but lots of great nods to the past while staying firmly unique in their vision. See it before you can hear any spoilers.

Iron Man 3 2013
This is pretty much everything that Iron Man 2 was not. I don't want to say too much, because anything I could say would be a spoiler.
Tony Stark is in the finest form he's ever been in. Deeply funny, amazing action, and there isn't really a good time to run out for a pee break, since between action sequences there is a lot of great expository dialogue that you'll regret missing.
Oh, and you really should make sure you've seen The Avengers before watching this.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower 2012
There are movies, not many, that affect me in unexpected ways and leave me feeling emotionally raw. American Beauty and Magnolia are two particularly egregious examples. Tonight, I get to add The Perks of Being a Wallflower to that list.
