Okay, so I wasn't expecting this to be shot for shot from the original, but they took a movie that I loved growing up and shit all over it, and then raped it repeatedly in the face.

If you're in the mood for a movie that's pointless, depressing, too long and has an extremely annoying teenager in it, then ohboy are you in for a treat!
