Crimes and Misdemeanors 1989 ★★★★½

Rewatched Jul 15, 2012

This is probably the bleakest and most confrontational of all Woody Allen movies. And one of his best. The moral dilemmas that he asks in this movie and the way he answers them, is as impressive and somewhat shocking on fourth or fifth viewing as it was the first time. And don´t even get me started on how great Martin Landau is in this, in my book the best he´s ever been.
