My Joe D'Amato marathon continues with this trashy gem from the king of sleaze. They sure don't make them like this anymore! You can always rely on Joe to deliver the goods and he dosen't fail with 1977's Emanuelle in America. This film has it all, hardcore porn inserts, a naked woman tossing off a horse (?!) and a odd sub plot involving rich people making love to snuff films. If you're lucky enough to have seen this film, it is these snuff films that will stay with you longest. They only take up about 2mins of the films running time but filmed on super 8 film they look pretty convincing to say the least. They mainly show women being tortured by groups of men so any feminists reading this might want to skip it.

Overall tho not his best film (Emanuelle's Revenge claims that title) but probably his most notorious and will be of interest to people into exploitation cinema or Joe D'amato completists. Just make sure the kids are in bed before you watch it....
