Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion 1997
The directors of 'End of Evangalion' not only invents a unique and rare conclusion to the evangalian series, but subtly depicts existentialism and the misunderstood juxtaposition of dream and reality, what is real and fake. It also deals with the perks and folly's of humanity whilst handling the extreme dramatization of romance, and tackles the strange entities and characters that dwindle through the imagination of the show. Evangelion: 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone 2008
An explosion of colours and bombs, loud noises, annoying kids and big robots left an otherwise ordinary impression on this movie and the first half of the evangelion series.

Gangster Squad 2013
It felt like a really simple crime, action thriller film that could have been more respected following that structure. But it was taken to seriously and pressed for a drama that felt unrealistic and impractical.

Bad Taste 1987
I very disturbingly quite enjoyed this, Before the Lord of the Rings trilogy providing wonderful and magical visuals on location in Wellington; we saw various grotesque, disgusting and sickening images through this film both in the same category of visuals seeming to Peter Jackson's specialty. Though the entertainment came through the lack of plot, acting talent that surprisingly fitted well with the story, and incredibly low budget production, creating a unique and diverse authenticated experience for the viewer. A good platform for Peter Jackson here, the film being more memorable than it being sensational.

The Perfect Host 2010
Very similar to Funny Games U.S but fractionally better, still struggled with its ending but enjoyable to an extent; lucky to receive two and a half stars but I liked the alteration between reality and inside the imagination of Warwick Wilson.
