Moonwalker 1988 ★½

In the height of his popularity, Michael Jackson decided to make a movie about himself. A egotistical movie about him, and what he does best; entertaining the ever living hell out of you. A movie with no plot, and to be truthful a little boring. Plus it's out there, REALLY out there. We get claymation and other things that make you think you just took LSD. But like I said, the movie has no narrative, it's just there to please the hardcore MJ fans. The highlight of the film is the awesometastic "Smooth Criminal" video, but first we have to deal with Joe Pesci hamming it up as a cardboard cut out villain who wants MJ's much younger friends because they witness him doing bad things. So Joe chases MJ all over town, and eventually get's away for a while to treat us with his dance moves and his awesome music video. But after that, we get more Pesci chasing MJ. I mean this goes on forever, and eventually MJ loses. But then he turns into Mecha MJ and defeats Pesci and everybody lives happily ever after; including MJ and his much younger friends.

This movie is horrible, just way too many scenes with no plot. The only reason this movie is 2 stars is "Smooth Criminal". This is by far the best MJ music video in my opinion as I think "Thriller" is a bit overrated. I like the 1930's gangster theme the video has... wait why am I talking about the music video? I'm suppose to be talking about the movie, oh wait... I don't care about the rest of it because I think it's a imaginative piece of crap I wouldn't watch over again. If I were you I would just go find "Smooth Criminal" on youtube and not suffer through this cash grab of crap.
