This sci-fi future movie is a little better than I remembered, but there’s simply too much slapstick going on, and Diane Keaton isn’t quite up to the role here as she turns from stuck-up socialite to optimistic revolutionary to Allen’s stand-up sidekick—her joke delivery seems entirely copied from Allen, who isn’t at his best here either—the goofy grin on his face gets old fast.
