Rondo Hatton’s only major role is this fun B-film in which he plays a deformed man who kills others to get his revenge on the high school pals who did it to him. But he’s a sympathetic monster who also falls for a blind girl in this effort that seems to owe something to Phantom of the Opera while looking ahead to modern day slashers.
