Holy cow! What a mess!
I haven't seen a movie that sounded so promising (regarding the director, title, composer, etc.) and turned out so hollow. Not only the story is a complete mess, but also the characters and the acting (except for the horses). It seemed to me that Spielberg tried to cover the obvious flaws of his work with a bunch of impressive shots (thx to Mr. Kaminski) and an artistic art direction.

If you need a brief update on the work of Lloyd Kaufman and Troma you should give this a serious try. But be warned, this movie is definitely not something you wanna watch with your girlfriend or parents. Better invite your buddies, relax (turn off you brain) and have a beer! That's all you need.
