Being a fan of a franchise that is 33 years old, you're going to go in to a movie that is not prequel that is a prequel to that franchise with certain expectations.

Not only is it a return to sci fi for Mr Scott, but a return to the place that started to chisel out his career. As I said, expectations were high.
