Not as outrageous as media, publicity and even the title seems to suggest. There is some humorous moments and an interesting use of graphics and split screen. I found it interesting and look forward to seeing part two.
Watchable thriller. Like other reviewers, I agree that the story is highly improbable but if you manage to suspend your disbelief and let yourself be dragged into it, it retains your attention sufficiently.
Almost experimental. Great soundtrack. Moody as hell. Tracking shots like those of Birth. Reminds me of Roeg's "The Man Who Fell to Earth" in that the film is experienced through the eyes of the alien. Not much is explained. I like the mystery.
